The Dark Room is a monthly second Tuesday open mic for writers and performers, taking place at Cleveland Public Theatre’s Church at CPT, where writers bring their work, and it’s read by whatever performers happen to show up, hopefully creating some unexpected synergy.
This month, the Dark Room is going to be the Zoom Dark Room, taking place online, so things have to happen at little differently. Writers should submit up to ten pages of work in advance to Mindy Herman, the event’s organizer at herman.mindy@gmail.com. Submission deadline is Fri 4/10 @ 6pm. Actors should let her know they want to participate by the same deadline.
The zoom meeting starts at 7:15pm, with readings from 7:30-9pm and a feedback session to follow. If you’d like to just listen and watch, RSVP to Minda at the same address and she’ll send you the meeting info. The show must go on!
