Back Center Offers Its First-Ever Online Classes

When you’ve been operating for going on a century, things change. And Lakewood’s Beck Center for the Arts is debuting its first online-only arts educational programming since it was founded 86 years ago. It points to such programming as a tool for healing, relieving stress and giving people a way to come together.

Its education faculty will hosting 18 classes online from April 27-June 6 through platforms such as Zoom and Google Classroom.. They run the gamut from ballet to cartooning to acting. Classes range from 30-45 minutes each week and offers students the chance to work on materials on their own schedule. Both new and continuing students can register through May 8.
