Akron’s E.J. Thomas Performing Arts Hall is challenging people of all ages and talents to participate in the first-ever Northeast Ohio Living Room Community Talent show. For this all-virtual event, people are invited to submit a 15-second to three-minute video using the hashtag #ejtalent or sending it directly by Facebook Messenger by Friday 4/24 at 11:59PM.
Enter in one of the following categories: family fun, performing artists, dad jokes/comedy, unusual talents or skills, kids and pets, or hairbrush kip sync/air guitar. All entries tagged #ejtalent will be available for viewing and entered in the show; E.J. Thomas Hall social media sites will feature select performances.
Category winners will get prize packages which include tickets and parking for upcoming E.J. Thomas Hall events, swag bags, Broadway show merchandise, a professional photo shoot on the E.J. Thomas stage, and more. Winners, judged on creativity, fun, spirit, innovation and inspiration, will be chosen by April 30 and announced on E.J. Thomas social media.
