Akron Symphony Debuts ASO Radio Hour

With its concert hall dark, the Akron Symphony Orchestra is debuting the ASO Radio Hour this Friday and every Friday for the immediate future. The program will feature a variety of concerts from the orchestra’s archives selected by its music director Christopher Wilkins.

The series kicks off with Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 2, performed on February 9, 2008 with guest conductor Benjamin Zander on the podium.

The concerts will be available for 72 hours only on the orchestra’s YouTube channel and Facebook page. The program will be announced each week on the orchestra’s social media or you can sin up for its newsletter to get email announcements.
