Get Some Fresh Air at Cleveland Metroparks Reservations

Like everyone else, Cleveland Metroparks has shuttered all its indoor buildings, including visitor centers, nature centers and the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo (both indoor and outdoor spaces), at least through the end of March (In reality, there is no firm timeline for when this crisis ends). It has cancelled or postponed all events through early April.

The outdoor areas at all 18 of its reservations remain open, however, and are ideal places to observe the unfolding of spring which will be occurring rapidly in the next few weeks. By the time we’re out of hibernation – even if it’s as early as late March — everything should be in full bloom. Watch it happen by taking a hike or jog on one of its multitude of trails. Mill Stream Run on the southwest side of Cuyahoga County even offers a physical fitness trail and trails designed for mountain bikers.
