Gardening Is for the Birds in University Heights

Sat 3/14 @ 1-2:30PM

Doan Brook Watershed Partnership and Friends of Lower Lake are hosting a series of talks aimed at home gardeners interested in planting their garden in a way that’s sustainable and environmentally friendly.

Its next talk, Gardening Is for the Birds, will share information about what to plant to benefit native bird species, both migrating and nesting, including how to create a garden that attracts the insects birds need to thrive. Friends of the Lower Lake co-chair John Barber is the presenter of the program which takes place at the University Heights Library at Cedar Center.

It’s free; register here.
