This month’s Dark Room at the Church at CPT is devoted entirely to open mic performances of works by whatever writers show up with samples (ten pages or less) of their work: dramatic dialogue, fiction, essays, poems, whatever. The works are read by whatever actors show up, who are cast on the spot, giving writers the opportunity to hear their work read and interpreted by people unfamiliar with it.
Sign-up starts at 7pm; actors should arrive by 7:15 to be cast. Readings start at 7:30, and there’s free Great Lakes Beer! A suggested donation of $5 is appreciated, but they won’t pressure you about it.
