Roots Quartet Mountain Heart Plays its Annual Winter Show at Happy Days Lodge

Fri 2/28 @ 8PM

Every winter for the past seven years, acoustic roots music band Mountain Heart has made a tradition of performing at Cuyahoga Valley National Park’s Happy Days Lodge. They’re keeping up that tradition this year for the eighth time.

The seasoned quartet’s roots go back more than two decades, although none of the founding members is still with the group. Their high-energy potpourri of sounds — blues, jazz, country, folk and bluegrass — has earned them multiple awards nominations including Grammys and CMA awards, and they’ve performed more than 130 times at the Grand Ole Opry. And like many bands that blend bluegrass with other genres, they’ve won a jam-band following with their instrumental prowess and fiery performances. Their most recent album, Soul Searching, came out in the summer of 2018.

Tickets are $28-$33.
