Partake of Paczki and Polish Culture in Slavic Village

Thu 2/20 @ 5-9PM

Paczki Day traditionally coincides with Mardi Gras, and has a similar origin: it’s a last day of celebration before Lent. Paczki, a Polish filled pastry, was baked to use up all those good ingredients you gave up for Lent.

The Polish American Cultural Center is getting a head start with its third annual Paczki Celebration. Admission is free to a party that includes live music for dancing by John and Mark Szleszynski and plenty of food available for purchase catered by Seven Roses Delicatessen June a few blocks away. There’ll also be a tour of the museum if you want to learn more about Polish culture.

Proceeds from sales benefit the Polish Constitution Day Parade in Slavic Village Sun 4/26.
