The larger community benefits from access to outstanding food-related businesses. The butcher shop offers not only meats but prepared deli foods and the adjoining bakery functions as a coffee shop, with pastries and breads.
The butcher shop also offers classes, aimed at the meat-eaters out there. Its winter cooking class will offer guidance in preparing such belly-warmers as bœuf à la Bourguignonne to coq au vin, the sort of thing you might find on the menu at EDWINS restaurant. Fee is $65.
