Christopher Reynolds is a former French teacher and long-time local musician who performed with acoustic folk group Those Guys and later under the name Christopher. More recently, he has focused on performances and events which explore creativity and spirituality. As he puts it, “My mission is to sing the dream of Peace on Earth onward through empowering as many as possible to share in the Third Great Awakening now occurring in the United States.”
His upcoming event “Women and Men of Ouranos and Gaia: Enlightening Bodies for an Enlightening Earth” is an evening of music, chants, rituals and stories, taking place at Abide Yoga on Larchmere (13001 Larchmere).
“Our expanding human wholeness now mirrors a remembered awareness of Earth as a living being — Gaia,” he says. “The enlightening of the Earth’s body and breath calls us to steward an atmosphere that recognizes and nurtures that same embodiment in others and ourselves — Ouranos.”
