Sun 1/26 @ 4-7PM
Are you an enthusiastic bicyclist (or hope to become one), wanting to interact with like-minded others? There’s no better way to do that than becoming a member of Bike Cleveland, an organization founded to advocate for bicyclists and better biking infrastructure.
You can get started at Bike Cleveland’s annual meeting and social, taking place at Sokol Greater Cleveland in Slavic Village. The evening starts at 4pm with dinner, a cash bar and a vendor expo offering items and services of interest to cyclists. From 5-6:15, there are speakers, a presentation on what’s gone on in Cleveland’s bike scene in 2019 and what Bike Cleveland’s plans for 2020 are, and awards recognizing local champions of the cycling scene. Afterwards there’s time for hanging out, making new friends and yes, the cash bar will still be open.
The event is free and open to members only, but all you have to do to get in is join — and membership is open to anyone interested in bicycling and making streets safer for bike riders. Space is limited so get on it. Membership is $35 annually.
