Everyone’s celebrating the “Roaring 20s” and the monthly GlamGore revue at the Grog Shop, hosted by drag artist Anhedonia Delight (pictured), Cleveland’s “Fatale of Filth,” is no exception. Only she’s calling it “Roaring Hunties.” She promises “opulence, glamour, mobs and mystery.” You know these “aunties” can deliver!
She’s assembling the usual diverse cast of performers from northeast Ohio and beyond to tackle the theme-of-the-month. They include Columbus’s Maja Jera, Akronite Sarah Tonin, Camilla Keener aka “Pineapple,” and Shamus “Veranda L’Ni” Dickinson, “Cleveland’s tallest drag entertainer.” As usual, Dj Zoe Lapin provides music for dancing when performers aren’t onstage.
Doors open at 8:30 with a VIP reception; show starts at 9:30. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door, $15 for VIP. It’s an all-ages event; don’t tell a certain southwest Ohio state legislator who claims mass shootings are caused by drag queen story hours!
