Spaces Corners is a Pittsburgh-based company that promotes contemporary photography in book form through exhibits, workshops and its bookstore. Caitie Moore, who works at the Transformer Station and has her own artist book-selling business, Nomadic Bookshelf, joined them in organization in the exhibit Undercurrents: A Photobook Exhibition, currently at the Transformer Station through Sun 1/26.
Join Moore, and Spaces Corners’ Melissa Catanese and Ed Panar for a discussion at the Transformer Station to walk through the exhibit to look at some of the books that embody the ideas the exhibit presents and learn what artist books are all about. There’ll also be a Q&A following their tour. It’s free and open to all but space is limited so registration is required. Go here.
