People are fascinated by owls because of their nocturnal elusiveness, their unusual look and the many myths and wives’ tales they’ve spawned.
But if you’d like the true scoop on these birds, you can get it at the annual Owl Hoot-enanny taking place at Cleveland Metroparks’ North Chagrin Nature Center. There’ll be live animal talks, “owl prowl” hikes (you probably won’t see too many during the day), and crafts and other activities with an owl theme.
It’s free and open to all.
