Chagrin Documentary Film Fest Replays Three of Its Popular Films

Sat 1/25 @ 3-9PM

With 83 films in five days, the Chagrin Documentary Film Fest, which took place in October, has grown rapidly in its ten years. And no matter how intrepid a film watcher you are, you probably missed a few great films you hoped to see — or didn’t even know about.

So CDFF is presenting its Encore “Best of the Fest” Series, taking place at the Chagrin Cinemas, to re-screen films that got a great response so more people can see them.

The first will feature The Woman Who Loves Giraffes, about a woman scientist who studied giraffes in Africa in 1950s despite barriers she encountered in the male-dominated field and her return there 57 years later; Woman in Motion about how Star Trek actress Nichelle Nichols helped ASA recruit women, Latino, African-American and Asian astronauts in the 1970s; and Armstrong, about the life of astronaut Neil Armstrong.

See one film for $12 or if you’ve got the stamina, see all three for $30.
