Trinity Cathedral Hosts Annual “Messiah” Audience Sing

Thu 12/19 @ noon

Trinity Cathedral’s director of music Todd Wilson leads the Trinity Chamber Orchestra — and audience — in one of those beloved annual holiday rituals: the audience participation Messiah sing. You’ll be the chorus for those professional musicians and vocal soloists.

Each year, Trinity is one of several places that offers anyone, whether or not they are great singers, to lend their voices to selections from Frederic Handel’s beloved oratorio. So dust off that score! Halleluia!

It’s part of Trinity’s noontime Brownbag concert series, the final one in the fall series. Since you’ll be singing, they won’t be serving lunch today — it’s hard to sing and eat. But there’ll be a coupon in the program for lunch at Elements Bistro Café, which is just a short walk up the block.

The event is free.
