We already told you that SPACES’ beloved executive/artistic director Christina Vassallo is moving on after five years, in which she brought a lot of excitement and innovation to the artist-oriented gallery, and oversaw its move to a new facility, along with a capital campaign to pay for the move. She arrived here from New York City and she’s heading east again at the end of year to lead the Fabric Museum and Workshop in Philadelphia.
Before she goes though, you can say goodbye and wish her well at Christina’s Going Away Bash Lava Lounge in Tremont. SquareBizp is providing the music, and 10% of food and alcohol sales that evening will go to SPACES. It’s free and open to all.
