Literary Cleveland’s Holiday Member Mixer, which takes place at Forest City Brewery, is a great opportunity to meet and mingle with writers and passionate readers from the area.
There’ll be free food, a cash bar, and readings from poets Laura Grace Weldon and Akeem Rollins. There’s also an option holiday book exchange. Bring a wrapped book to enter, and as numbers are drawn, each person who brings a book will be able to take one.
The event is open only to members and one guest each but here’s the thing: it’s a great opportunity to join which you can do ahead of time when you register or even at the door. They’ve got a lot of things in the pipeline for 2020, both fun and educational, which you won’t want to miss if writing and/or reading is your thing.
