Sat 12/14 @ 2PM
New York and Athens-based artist/choreographer Maria Hassabi combines performance and installation to explore how the live body and the still image interact, “utilizing stillness and the velocity of deceleration as both technique and subject.”
She’ll be at the Cleveland Museum of Art Morley Lecture Hall to do a lecture called “Paradox of Stillness” where she’ll talk about how she’s evolved her distinctive choreographic process.
The lecture is free; tickets are required. Go here to make a reservation.
