Got a gaudy holiday sweater you feel like you don’t get to wear often enough? Throw it on and come down to Kent for Main Street Kent’s and Great Lakes Brewing Company’s annual Ugly Sweater Tavern Trek in downtown Kent.
It starts at the Venice Café where participants check in between 5-8pm. There they get their Great Lakes Christmas Ale pint glasses and trek passes, which get them $5 GLBC Christmas Ales (and other Great Lakes brews) at participating businesses. They include Venice Café, Water Street Tavern, Ray’s Place, the Loft, Zephyr Pub, Bricco, Treno Ristorante, Franklin Hotel Bar, Buffalo Wild Wings, Dominick’s, 157 Lounge, and Barflyy Retro Bar & Arcade. Go to as many or as few as you want.
There will also be raffle drawings and prizes given randomly throughout the evening for the “Ugliest Sweaters.”
Tickets are $15. Proceeds benefit Kent Social Services.
