Countryside Market Holds Its First-Ever Holiday Cookie Contest

Sat 12/14 @ 9AM-noon

The Countryside Markets, which take place in the summer at Cuyahoga Valley National Park’s Howe Meadow, have moved inside to the Old Trail School for the winter. So there’s a great opportunity to stock up on locally grown and produced foods for all your holiday visitors. This week there’s a special treat: their first-ever cookie contest.

Market visitors are invited to bake two dozen cookies, hopefully with ingredients previously purchased at the market, and drop them off by 9am with a list of ingredients and contact info. Shoppers will be able to sample the cookies and vote for their favorites. Once all customer votes are counted, the winner will be awarded a basket of baking supplies from the market, including a chicken cookie cutter.

There’s no fee to enter or to taste.
