Country Punks the Whiskey Daredevils Rock the Beachland Tavern

Fri 12/13 @ 8:30PM

There’s no better way to have a good time in Cleveland than to go see the Whiskey Daredevils, who’ve have been rocking Cleveland for nearly two decades with their blend of smart-alecky country punk and serious songs infused with classic, old-school country influences.

The band’s hallmarks are high-quality songwriting and a high-energy, entertaining live show. Vocalist/frontman Greg Miller and drummer Leo P. Love are the band’s solid rocks; original bassist Ken Miller was replaced by former Lords of the Highway bassist Rebecca “Sugar” Wildman some years back. Guitarist Hex Mattos joined the crew in early 2018.

They’ve released more than a dozen albums, including a new one, called Bonafide, this past fall, so they’ve got plenty of tunes to make each show a little different. If you need a pick-me-up on a Friday night, drop by the Beachland Tavern to catch them. Fort Wayne surf rocker band Strange Waters opens. Admission is $10 in advance, $12 at the door.
