The Cleveland Dragon Boat Association’s annual Dragon Boat Festival didn’t happen this year, they’re says due to construction on the Cuyahoga River. But it will be back next year, and if you’re interested in forming or joining a team or learning to paddle to see whether it’s your thing, you want might to come to the CDBA annual Christmas party and fundraiser, taking place at Li Wah. Located in Asia Plaza, the restaurant has been one of the anchors in Cleveland’s AsiaTown for nearly three decades.
The meal will be served family-style, with a dishes brought to each table for sharing, including chicken corn soup, honey pepper beef, walnut shrimps and pork chop with Pekin sauce (warning: there’s not a lot for vegetarians to eat). There’ll also be chances to win prize baskets and a 50/50 raffle.
