Learn How to Write a Children’s Story from Kid Lit Author in Cleveland Hts

Sat 11/30 @ 2-3:30PM

Many writers dream of writing stories for children, perhaps hoping to either recreate their childhoods and create the happy one they didn’t have.

For those writers, children’s author Christopher Healy will be hosting a Literary Cleveland workshop on “Story Building for Children’s Literature,” taking place at Council Gardens (2501 N. Taylor Road). This interactive workshop will feature games in which participants develop plot lines and characters that they can then assemble into stories. Afterwards, he’ll do a Q&A to answer questions about how writing kids’ books works, both creativity and from a business standpoint.

Fee for the workshop is $20 for non-members, $15 for Lit Cleveland members.
