Cleveland Museum of Art’s MIX Party Celebrates Iconic Artists in its Collection

Fri 12/6 @ 6-10PM

The Cleveland Museum of Art is leaving itself wide open with this month’s theme for its monthly adult social evening, MIX. That theme is “Icon,” which they say will feature iconic artists in the museum collection. That doesn’t pare it down a lot, considering that the collection features works by hundreds of noted artists including Raphael, Da Vinci, Caravaggio, Monet, Picasso and my personal favorite, Anselm Kiefer, whose work “Lot’s Frau” (pictured) is in the contemporary wing.

There’ll be gallery talks about some of these important artists, along with music for dancing by DJ ESO, a cash bar and food available for purchase in the Provenance Café until 8:30. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 day of event.
