Seems like everyone is jumping on the vegetarian bandwagon like we did decades ago. And while the Cleveland Vegan Society has announced it will take 2020 off from its annual VegFest, which has grown massive and in the last several years has taken place at the convention center, the VegBash, “a one-day celebration of vegetarian and vegan cuisine,” is coming to the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds (Vegfest is strictly vegan).
Fifteen local restaurants, caterers and food trucks will be offering plant-based foods in the arts & crafts and home & hobby buildings, including Indian, Ethiopian, Mexican, Mediterranean and American soul food. There’ll also be a “cruelty-free” bazaar with 100 vendors, cover bands and vegan trick or treating and a craft area for kids.
Tickets are $13 for adults, $11 for kids 6-12 and seniors, and must be purchased in advance here.
