Six Artists Featured at Bonfoey Gallery’s “Artists to Watch”

Fri 11/1 @ 5-7:30PM

Cleveland’s oldest gallery, the 125-year-old Bonfoey Gallery, once again hosts their Artists to Watch exhibit, throwing the spotlight on a half dozen regional artists who might not have caught the eye of every gallerygoer and local art maven.

Mark Krieger, Helen Lewis, Susan Morosky, Kristina Paabus, Lisa Robert Robinson, and Lisa Schonberg all create what the gallery describes as “energetic, gestural pieces.” They include Krieger’s color-infused paintings inspired by old industrial Cleveland; Lewis’ weathered-looking encaustic work; Morosky’s science-guided process; Paabus’ use of printmaking with other mediums; Robinson’s combination of drawing and painting; and Schonberg’s use of a variety of printmaking processes to interpret nature-based forms.

The show opens with a free reception on Fri 11/1 and runs through Sat 12/7.
