Retiring Nurse Barbara Shares Her Experiences in Songs & Stories at the BOP STOP

Sun 11/3 @ 7PM

The singer who calls herself #NurseBarbara is a nurse in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. In the past she’s been a hospital, home care and cruise ship nurse. Now she’s about to retire, and she’s celebrating with a book launch and musical/theatrical performance at the BOP STOP.

In a performance based on her book, Hood Medical: This Is Why I Sing, Nurse Barbara will tell stories (anonymously) about the people she’s met over the years in her practice. The evening will include a theatrical script as well as songs, with accompaniment on keyboards and piano by Cerena Magnum.

“Here’s to nursing past, present and future, and here’s to all levels of healing arts!” says Nurse Barbara.

The event is free.
