Convergence-Continuum Production Looks at Young Urban Gay Romance

Fri 10/18-Sat 11/9

The 2016 drama/comedy, Homos, or Everyone in America, by Jordan Seavey, looks at what life is like for young gay men in a contemporary urban environment. It follows the romance and subsequent breakup of two young men who are quintessential urbanites: a Latino grad student and a neurotic Jewish man. It covers a five-year period of bliss and unfaithfulness, fights and drunkenness and both characters’ stabs at transitioning into adult life.

The film also uses the popular contemporary device of relating events out of order, so if that frustrates you, be warned.

The play opens at convergence-continuum, which has produced a huge variety of scripts dealing with LGBTQ experiences, this week and runs Thursdays through Saturdays @ 8pm through Sat 11/9. Tickets are $8-$20.
