It’s a Day of Family-Friendly Fun at the Ohio City Street Festival

Sun 9/29 @ noon-8PM

Ohio City is one of Cleveland’s fastest-growing and bustling urban neighborhoods, and its Ohio City Street Festival, which debuted in 2015, has grown along with it. The 5th annual festival features a full day of family-friendly activities to bring area residents and visitors together for food, drink, entertainment, arts programming, a Kid Zone with interactive games, inflatables and crafts, and plenty of hands-on stuff to do.

Programming and activities on the Market Square Park stage start at noon with a performance by 235-Funk. There’ll be acrobatics from the jasmine Dragons, performances by Columbus reggae band the Ark Band and Latin music from Group Son Gitano, a drum circle, bratwurst and ice cream eating contests and a beer stein holding contest.

There’ll be vendors all along West 25th street with food and items from area restaurants and shops, and information from local nonprofit organizations, arts and culture programming from the Music Settlement, Cleveland Public Theatre, the Cleveland Museum of Art and more. And Tabletop Board Game Café will be bringing out large-scale versions of popular games.

The West Side Market will be open as well; be sure to stop in and browse this unique Cleveland landmark.

The festival is free.
