CVNP Hosts Discussion About the Future of the Cuyahoga River

Tue 9/17 @ 7PM

The big celebration of the 50th anniversary of the last Cuyahoga River fire in 1969 took place in June, with a variety of programs. But the work — and the reflections — aren’t over yet.

The Crooked River Chronicles series continues at Cuyahoga Valley National Park’s Happy Days Lodge where a panel of river leaders will talk about that celebration, and what kind of groundwork it laid for “igniting the future.” The discussion will revolve around next steps in continual the river’s renewal and that of the cities along its banks.

The program is free.
