Akron Recording Company is a young business in the local music scene; they’ve just concluded their first year.
So they’re hosting a celebration to mark the occasion, taking place at the studio near downtown Akron (243 Furnace Street). It’s a release party for their vinyl compilation release Where the Hell Is Akron, Ohio Vol. II, and it will feature an all-star lineup of performances by Akron bands. Performers include Time Cat, Acid Cats, Oregon Space Trail of Doom, Peach Curls, Leaf Borbie & the Family Tree, King Buu, the Beyonderers, Roid Rage, Samanatha Grace and DJ Ben Crazy.
Music starts at 6pm; there’s a $5 suggested donation at the door.
