You know we’re always on board for any event that helps animals or the environment. Whiskey for Whiskers and Beer for Deer at Peninsula’s Appalachian Outfitters not only benefits the Summit Humane Society it also raises money for the Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
It kicks off with an adopt-a-thon from 5:30-7pm where you can meet some of the animals in need of homes and be smitten by their cuteness. Drinks will be served from 6-8:15pm. Your $15 donation gets you a mug or tumbler which you can fill with your choice of two beers, a whiskey signature drink and a flight of tastings, a beer and a flight of whiskeys, or a beer and whiskey signature drink with one whiskey sample. Whiskey is courtesy of local distillery Cleveland Whiskey; Thirsty Dog Brewing Co. (appropriately) is providing the beer.
