There was lots of action for all ages at the Cedar Fairmount SummerFEST in Cleveland Heights. There was chalk drawing on the sidewalk, author book signings and a jazz/pop duo at Appletree Books, cupcake icing in front of Luna Bakery, a booth where you could create your own marbled paper and a table of child-sized musical instruments, courtesy of The Music Settlement, that kids could pick up and try out. The alley behind the stores was filled with sale items, and of course, there was face painting in one of the storefronts. Even Cleveland Heights Church opens its door and filled its space with activities for kids.
