The first moon landing occurred more than 50 years ago on July 20, 1969, and last month was rife with celebrations of that occasion.
But the Cleveland Museum of Natural History is keeping the celebration going with a special Think and Drink with the Extinct party, Party on the Moon, themed around the landing. Get a look at the museum’s own moon rock, learn about current NASA projects and take a virtual walk on Mars. And for an extra $6, take in a special planetarium show AT 6:30 or 7:30pm.
That’s the “think” party. Masthead Brewing Company and Seven Brothers Distilling Company, both located in northeast Ohio, will be providing the “drink” part.
Admission is $10 in advance, $12 day of event; members are free.
