One of the missions of the Cleveland Print Room is using photography to teach young people to be more observant of the world around them and develop the visual language to express their feelings about it.

They’ve just completed their first Factory Fellowship, which took place over the last two months, with seven arts mastery students: Maya Peroune, Destanee Cruz, Felix Latimer, Coniah Hanley, Grace Advent, Jayden DeVaughn, and Tevyah Hanley. Using both digital and analog photography and alternative processes, they’ve learned to tell stories in images. You can see what they came up with and chat with them abut their work at the inaugural Factory Fellowship exhibition and Meet the Artists event. It’s free and open to all.
