Fri 8/16 @ 7PM
Finnish conductor Osmo Antero Vänskä will be on the podium when the Cleveland Orchestra checks back in town from Blossom for “Viva L’Italia” at Summers@Severance.
On the program are Samuel Barber’s 20-minute Symphony in One Movement, which debuted in 1936, and Felix Mendelssohn’s 1833 Symphony No. 4 (“Italian”), inspired by a trip to Italy he took a few years earlier.
After the relative short, intermission-less concert, linger with friends and enjoy some drinks on the Grand Terrace. Tickets are $27-$87.
