Cleveland Opera Theater Presents Free “Opera for All @ Dunham Tavern Museum

Sun 8/25 @ 6:30PM

One of Cleveland Opera Theater’s stated goals is to make opera more accessible and to introduce it to new audiences, which may not have considered opera among their listening choices. One of the ways it does that is through its Opera for All concerts (the company’s original name was Opera per Tutti, which means Opera for All in Italian). These concerts feature opera excerpts that may be familiar to those who have never even seen an opera as well as previews of its upcoming season to whet listeners’ appetites for the full performance.

One such Opera for All concert takes place at Dunham Tavern Museum in MidTown, where concertgoers can relax outdoors on the lawn and enjoy the offerings of food trucks and beer & wine for sale. The concert itself is free.

If you’re already committed to furthering opera in Cleveland, come to Opera for All’s annual meeting and reception prior to the concert. Starting at 5pm the $100 ticket includes close-in parking, VIP seating with chairs provided, plus wine and heavy appetizers in the Dunham Tavern Museum Barn.
