From now until October, there’ll be county fairs all over Ohio. This week it’s Medina County’s turn. Taking place at the fairground in Medina, the seven-day fair features everything you love (or hate) about county fairs: rides, junk food, 4H exhibits, country music , a horse show, a petting zoo, and those every popular motor sports including a tractor pull on Saturday and a Demolition Derby on Friday.
Bro country singer Jake Owen, whose hits include “Barefoot Blue Jean Night,” “Alone With You,” “Beachin’ and “I Was Jack (You Were Diane)” (and a LOT of mentions of “ice cold beer”) performs on Wednesday, and fireworks are the grand finale on Sun 8/4 @ 10pm. Admission is $6, $3 for seniors, and kids 2-11. Ride passes are $15.
