Free City Club Forum on Public Square Looks at Air Quality

Tue 7/16 @ noon

Part three of the City Club of Cleveland’s series of free forums at Public Square dealing with environmental issues is called Air: Breathing Life into Tomorrow.

It focuses on the fact that, despite improvement, Cuyahoga County has received poor grades for particle pollution and ozone days, forms of atmospheric pollution connected especially to lung diseases such as asthma, which has become more prevalent. It will look at how climate change threatens to worsen this form of pollution and ask how we can achieve cleaner air to improve the health of the entire community.

Speakers include Joe McDonald, Manager of Environmental Planning at NOACA, and Christina Yoka, the City of Cleveland’s Chief of Air Pollution Outreach. Ideastream’s Rick Jackson moderates.

All are welcome!
