Mulberry Creek Herb Farm Celebrates Summer with its “Scarborough Fair”

Sat 6/22 @ 10AM-5PM

Sun 6/23 @ 10AM-4PM

Mulberry Creek Herb Farm, the family-owned, all-organic farm in Huron, hosts its annual Herb Fair each year just as the season to get your herbs and vegetables planted is winding down. Each year it takes on a different theme. This year’s is Scarborough Fair, celebrating the 60s and 70s, and of course, “parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme,” all of which you can purchase at Mulberry Creek.

The fair fills the meadow with a food tent and local and regional vendors of all sorts, offering crystals, body products, garden décor, teas, essential oils, honey, candles, vintage items, handcrafted accessories and more. There are free talks and demos in the pavilion on topics like cooking with herbs, natural dyes, the benefits of CBD oil and “scents of the 60s.” In the barn, you’ll find “make and take” projects such as tie-dying and making beaded bracelets — you’ll be all set for the next Be-In!

In addition, there will be Qi Gong in the meadow, beer-making and beer-tasting classes, a hula hop contest, 60s and 70s cars on display, 60s & 70s trivia and games with DJ Don on Saturday and live era-appropriate music with Paul Sulpizio on Sunday.

Admission is $5, which includes one free herb and access to all the classes.
