Cleveland Shakespeare Festival Holds a Benefit

Sat 6/8 @ 6-10PM

The Cleveland Shakespeare Festival, which starts Fri 6/21, performs for free in various parks and other outdoor spaces around the city. This year, its two productions are Henry V, which will run Fri 6/21-Sat 7/7, and Much Ado About Nothing, Fri 7/19-Sat 8/3.

To bring free theater to all these communities means it’s got to raise money. So it’s hosting a benefit for itself called O For a Muse of Fire this weekend at Ensemble Theatre in Cleveland Heights. There, for only a $25 ticket price, guests can enjoy munchies and desserts from local eateries, raffles and silent auctions of packages donated by supporters, a cash bar featuring a special Muse of Fire cocktail and Shakespeare pub trivia.

Order tickets at shakespeare-festival-tickets.
