The Cuyahoga County Public Library is kicking off a new “cultural literacy” program, programs designed to bring together people of all ages and backgrounds to learn new skills and ideas relating to food.
This new program features the mobile kitchen created by the Charlie Cart Project, which brings cooking projects and nutritious food into classrooms as a tool to teach lessons in math and science, language and social studies.
The introductory program features Chef Rocco Whalen of Tremont’s Fahrenheit restaurant, who’ll demonstrate the Charlie Cart, and share stories and food samples at the Parma-Snow library branch. Go here to reserve your seat.
