They’ll discuss and take questions about topics such as how you become a drag queen or king, the history of drag (something Dr. Lady J. wrote her doctoral dissertation about at CWRU), how a drag artist creates their hair, makeup and costume, what it’s like to perform and political issues facing the LGBTQ community, such as state legislators who think Drag Queen Story Hours corrupt kids

It’s free and open to all, except state legislators who don’t have open minds.

Then on Friday, if you’re not done partying when Third Friday closes down, there’ll be a party going on at ARTneo called Community Voices: Pride. There’s be a cash bar with Platform Beer, and DJ Zoë Lapin will be spinning music for dancing the rest of the night away. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door.
