Akron Honey Market Day is back this summer for one day only at the place where it all began: Crestland Apiary at 1045 Jefferson Avenue in Akron’s Highland Square neighborhood.
There you can hang out, enjoy some food for the food truck and some soul tunes from DJ Forrest Getemgump, and check out a bunch of local Akron entrepreneurs such as Juliabelle’s Seasonings, Rubs & Mixes, Tea House Bakery, the Garrett Candle Co., NOSH Butters, Every Blooming Thing Akron, Maplewood Boutique, Holmes Mouthwatering Applesauce (OK, so they’re from Cleveland) and many more.
And of course, you’ll want to sample the new products from Akron Honey Company, including four new honey flavors: habanero, ghost pepper, bourbon and hickory-smoked strawberry. AHC’s founder Brett Wesley is also promising a new brand identity with some new projects you can find out about when you go to Market Day.
