Natural History Museum Hosts Adult Night With “Fermentation” Theme

Thu 5/16 @ 6PM

The Cleveland Museum of Natural History’s monthly adult night, Think & Drink with the Extinct, is going heavy on the “drink” part this month, when the theme is “fermentation.”

Visitors will learn all about the science of fermentation while partaking of its results provided by a flock of local breweries, wineries and distilleries including Great Lakes Brewing Company, Butcher and the Brewer, Fat Head’s Brewery, Masthead Brewing Company, Saucy Brew Works, Cleveland Whiskey, Seven Brothers Distilling Company, CLE Urban Winery and Western Reserve Meadery.

Drinks will be accompanied by free fermented food samples from Cleveland Kraut, Randy’s Pickles, and Wake Robin Foods, with more food available for purchase in the museum’s café, Exploration: A Zack Bruell Restaurant.

Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door. Beverage tickets are 3 for $5, with one ticket for each sample and three tickets for a full-sized beverage.
