Fri 5/31 @ 7 & 9:30PM
For 48 hours, ad hoc teams of filmmakers fan out all over the city to make short films for the 48 Hour Film Project. This year, West Creek Conservancy’s Xtinguish Celebration of the 50th anniversary of the last Cuyahoga River fire joined with the 48HFP to challenge them to create films around the theme of the river and environmental stewardship.
Now MoCA Cleveland will have a special free screening of these film, which it will show in its lobby. The cash bar will be open for this premiere event serving, among other drinks, the “Crooked Cocktail,” the official drink of the Xtinguish celebration.
There will be two showings, at 7 & 9:30 pm, with networking with the filmmaking teams in between. Even though it’s free, registration is required because seating is limited. Go here to save your seat.
