West Shore UU Social Justice Film Series Screens Mr. Rogers Biopic

Sat 4/13 @ 7PM

It’s been 10 years now that West Shore Unitarian Universalist Church in Rocky River has been presenting its film series on issues relating to social justice.

Its offering this month may only be obliquely about social justice but it really gets down to the bedrock of all such issues: how we treat others. The 2018 film Won’t You Be My Neighbor covers the career of Pittsburgh television producer/host Fred Rogers whose program Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood, running on PBS from 1968 through 2001, reassured several generations of children that they were OK and cared about.

The film is free and open to all; it’s followed by refreshments and conversation. Wear your cardigan!
