Apollo’s Fire Invites Kids to Get Up Close & Personal With Music at Family Concerts

Sat 4/6 @ 11AM & 3PM

Sun 4/7 @ 2PM

At the Apollo’s Fire’s interactive family concerts, kids get to chat with musicians, ask them questions, try out the instruments as part of the “instrument petting zoo” and take part in games and quizzes. There’s nothing formal about these events!

The theme of their next series of family concerts is “Bach and his Amazing Musical Family.” Bach had 10 children who survived until adulthood (this being the 18th century he also had 10 who didn’t) and several of his sons also became musicians. The 45-minute program, which ends with kids invited on stage for the “petting zoo,” takes place at the Hudson Library & Historical Society Sat 4/6 @ 11am, at the Akron Art Museum Sat 4/6 @ 3pm, and at the Cleveland Museum of Art Sun 4/7 @ 2pm.
